Does SSC MTS have negative marking?
Partially. Session 1 (Numerical & Reasoning) has NO negative marking. Session 2 (English & GK) has -1 mark for wrong answers. Only Session 2 marks count for merit.
Which sections are qualifying in SSC MTS?
Numerical Ability and Reasoning (Session 1) are qualifying sections. You need to score minimum qualifying marks but these don't count in the final merit ranking.
Is negative marking applicable in SSC MTS ?
Yes. For every wrong answer, -1 marks are deducted. This is approximately 1/4th of the marks for a correct answer.
How accurate is the rank prediction on QMaths?
The rank is estimated based on scores submitted by other candidates on the platform. As more students use the tool, the estimate becomes more accurate. It is NOT the official rank.
