Marks Calculation, Normalisation and Objections
Raw score = correct answers - (wrong answers / 3). Example: 80 correct and 12 wrong = 80 - 4 = 76 / 100; 70 correct and 20 wrong = 70 - 6.67 = 63.33 / 100.
Because the exam ran over several shifts, RRB normalises marks across shifts, so your final score may differ from the raw score. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC-NCL/SC 30%, ST 25%.

In CEN 02/2025, the Grade I Signal UR cut-offs published so far ranged from about 70 to 87 normalised marks, with most RRBs close to 77-80. 2026 cut-offs will depend on vacancies, the paper's difficulty and normalisation.
