How to calculate SSC CGL Tier 1 marks using answer key?
Paste your official response sheet URL into QMaths calculator. It will automatically detect your answers, apply the marking scheme (+2 for correct, -0.50 for incorrect, 0 for unanswered) and show your section-wise and total marks.
What is the marking scheme for SSC CGL Tier 1?
Each correct answer carries +2 marks and each wrong answer carries -0.50 marks (negative marking). Unanswered questions carry 0 marks. Total: 100 questions, 200 marks.
Is negative marking applicable in SSC CGL Tier 1?
Yes. For every wrong answer, -0.50 marks are deducted. This is approximately 1/4th of the marks for a correct answer.
How accurate is the rank prediction on QMaths?
The rank is estimated based on scores submitted by other candidates on the platform. As more students use the tool, the estimate becomes more accurate. It is NOT the official rank.
